Over the past 25 years, I've worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies and thought I could successfully function through downsizing, mergers, layoffs, cubicles, corporate arrogance, politics, and dysfunctional leadership. And then, one day, I recognized that I just had enough!
I realized that if the culture didn't change, I alone could not control it. I simply needed to leave and act on my dreams and desires and set aside my fears of security that were holding me back. I finally realized that it was okay not to have all the answers, but it was critical to identify what was important to me and not to settle for anything less.
Ironically, my passion to help others nearly hit me in the face, but it had to start with me. I wanted to surround myself with people who believed in my dreams. I wanted to build a legacy that clearly made a difference in the lives of others. Thus, the creation of Accelerated Performance, Inc., whose primary aim is to help individuals "become more."
